Shown above are the workings of the Revolving Barrel. This area is accessible by both the storage room and in the ride near the barrel’s conclusion. Every few years, the sign is lowered for sanding and painting and the façade gets touched up for the upcoming season. A comparison of the ride’s birdcage prop and the birdcage seen on the cover of Tracy’s 1968 brochure reveal that they are virtually identical. Is it indeed the same one?
